World Gas Confenrence 2025
The 29th World Gas Conference (WGC2025) is the premier gathering of the global gas and energy industry. Hosted by the International Gas Union (lGU), representing over 90% of the global natural gas production and consumption market, WGC is a flagship event held every three years. With a rich history dating back to 1931 in London, this conference has evolved to become an influential global platform.
Themed "Energising a Sustainable Future", this edition will mark the first time that WGC ever visits China. The annual congress of the Austrian Association for the Gas and Water Industry (ÖVGW) will take place on April 27th and 28th, 2022. The ÖVGW Congress is the largest Austrian industry meeting point for the gas and water industry. Participants from both sectors meet in Innsbruck to exchange ideas about current technical and economic challenges as well as innovative, future-oriented solutions. The congress program is framed by an extensive trade fair with around 60 exhibitors. In addition to representatives of the utility companies, experts from the gas and drinking water industry, universities, as well as from administration and the planning sector take part.
