GMS 4400 Lidra

The innovative GMS 4400 is a universal device for gas leak detection, network monitoring, and gas analysis. Using infrared measurement technology, the measuring instrument can selectively measure natural gas, methane, and ethane with a laser and determine them accurately and without cross-sensitivity. The GMS 4400 detects methane, ethane, and carbon dioxide. In addition, methane/ethane analysis with data storage of the measurement results is possible.

The GMS 4400 Lidra impresses with its exceptionally high sensitivity – starting at just 0.1 ppm methane. This sets new standards compared to previous measuring systems. The device is ideal for validating leaks in accordance with DVGW G 465-4-4:2016 and for monitoring pipe networks. A particular advantage is the reliable detection of ethane even at low concentration thresholds. In combination with its extremely high detection sensitivity, the GMS 4400 Lidra provides an excellent basis for precise and efficient pipe network monitoring in daily use.

A Bluetooth interface and a GPS receiver are integrated. Data storage with GPS coordinates and data transfer to a PC for route documentation are also possible. The device can, of course, be controlled wirelessly using a tablet PC. With the new lithium-ion batteries, the operating time and reliability of the device are unmatched.

The GMS 4400 offers even greater accuracy of results, even with changing tasks, as it can be adjusted to different measurement tasks and changing measurement environments. The device monitors the intake volume flow, measures the volume flow, and can adapt to changes. In addition to reliable measurement results, optimum stability and consistent response times are achieved.

Maximum ease of maintenance and maximum availability are a matter of course. Thanks to the menu navigation in conjunction with the automatic measuring range selection, the GMS 4400 measuring system is easy and safe to operate at any time, even for inexperienced users. To start up, simply select a task in the main menu, e.g., gas detection or above-ground monitoring, and the measuring device will then automatically set the sensor selection, measuring range, pump output, and alarm message according to a predefined program. The applications are preset to the required alarm levels, pump capacity, measuring ranges, and sensor systems are automatically selected according to the selected application. The selection functions can be easily changed and adapted to your requirements. Subsequent changes can be made from a PC.

To use the device in conjunction with a PC, free display and control software (e.g., for a tablet PC) is available for each device. Of course, the optional wireless connection with the Bluetooth interface is also available here.
