The versatile gas detector can not only detect leaks in internal gas installations, but also detect refrigerants, check vehicles for leaks and detect hydrogen. The GPD 3010 meets all the requirements of the DVGW regulations and has an explosion protection approval.

With the GPD 3010, Schütz has added a powerful system to its device family for locating leaks in devices and gas lines.

The device has a double display: an exact measured value is displayed digitally, the analog bar graph also shows the change in the gas concentration.

The display is equipped with many useful functions and extras. The GPD 3010 offers a graphic display, which can visualize many fonts and Chinese characters. The lighting switches on automatically depending on the lighting situation, which is particularly convenient for testing in areas that are not well lit. A frequently expressed customer request was also implemented with the inversion of the display (white text on a black background).

The device innovation offers a wide measurement spectrum: leaks can be detected with the GPD 3010 from a concentration of 1ppm. The operating time of the device is very high, it has been extended to over 14 hours to allow longer continuous operation.

The GPD 3010 is able to determine refrigerants (R234Y, R134A, R32) and all combustible gases. Depending on the measurement task, the device can be set to methane, propane or hydrogen and is therefore already fully suitable for the coming hydrogen transition. The ATEX temperature class T4 is new to the device variant GPD 3010. The sensor of the GPD 3010 is protected against dirt and mechanical damage by a metal protective cap. In conjunction with the stable housing, the GPD 3010 is a modern and professional leak detector for everyday work in the workshop and on the construction site.
